PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recorder in which print quality is prevented from degrading due to creases of an ink ribbon. SOLUTION: The recorder comprises a replaceable ink ribbon cartridge having an ink ribbon wound around a winding shaft and a supply shaft, and a part 128 for supporting the winding shaft rotatably when the ink ribbon cartridge is fixed to a specified position. The recorder further comprises a retainer 133 which can be displaced between a first position for regulating displacement of the winding shaft by clamping the winding shaft between the winding shaft supporting part 128 and the retainer 133 and a second position allowing advance of the winding shaft into the winding shaft supporting part 128. |
