FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: continuous vinyl chloride removing from polyvinyl chloride an aqueous dispersion is carried out by two-step degassing. Monomer is removed due to rapid pressure decrease occurring at flow rate 1-20 m/s. During the process of vinyl chloride removing temperature is maintained at 55-60 C at both stage under vacuum 150-200 mm mercury column. Method excludes the use of "live steam".
