Water turbine

The water turbine has an annular inlet device (1) fitted with guide scoops (2), with an outlet extending over the entire internal circumference and directed onto a running wheel (3). The running wheel is encased with play within the inlet device. The cross section of the outlet is adjustable by means of a cylindrical wall (11) which can be adjusted axially. The running wheel is coupled to a shaft. The running wheel scoops (5) are fixed axially. There is at least one through-going rigid running-wheel bottom(4, 12) connected to the cylindrical wall and adjustable in the axial direction of the running wheel.
