PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the coincidence of background colors between a fitting image and a base image and also fitting the fitting image without causing any partial deficiency of the base image. SOLUTION: A base image area where a base image exists is detected (S410), and then an area other than an image area, i.e., a fitting image area, is detected (S420). The fitting position of a fitting image is inputted via an operation of a user (S430), and the size of a copy form is detected (S440). A background color adjustment processing is carried out to secure the coincidence of background colors between the fitting image and the base image (S450). If the fitting image cannot be composed at a designated position, the position is automatically changed or adjusted and the size of the fitting image is also changed (S470). |
