The coupling assembly consists of two shafts (1,2) rotating about a common axis (X-X), rotary coupling elements and an axial support. The rotary elements are in the form of engaging components (5,6) on the shaft ends. The axial support consists of a sleeve (3) in two sections, connected axially to one shaft (1), and springs (23,34) inside it. The sleeve fits over the ends (5,6) of both shafts. The springs are actuated after releasing an arming system formed by studs (17) on the sleeve and cams (18) on the end of one shaft. |
