<p>The periscope comprises central body (3,3A) to be mounted on a vehicle, headpiece (9) rotating w.r.t. the body with window (11) for external viewing, and a mirror for deflecting the incoming beam from the window to the detector. An infra-red module (15) contains an infra-red sensor, infra-red ray path, and an optics group for focusing the beam on the sensor. Module (15) is joined to the central body in the region of an interface where the infra-red beam is collimated.</p> |
