PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain large flexibility in illumination for passengers by using a large-core polymer fiber(LCPF) connected optically to one cable of an optical fiber cable bundle. SOLUTION: Respective cables are incorporated in an array 30 of seats, and cables 42 and 44 shown by dotted lines and a cable 46 shown by a solid line are wired to desired positions of the respective seats which require local light sources. Those optical fiber cables 42, 44, and 46 extend to desired height above the seat parts and connected to optical connectors 48, 50, and 52. Flexible LCPF cables 54, 56, and 58 which have optical connectors corresponding to the connectors 48, 50, and 52 and are provided at one end are connected to the connectors 48, 50, and 52. Therefore, light is transmitted to an LCPF cable through an optical connector from an end of an optical fiber cable. Passengers can adjust transmitted light source lights as they like because of the flexibility of the LCPF cables 54, 56, and 58. |
