PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaning liquid composition having excellent cleaning effect on a wide range of materials to be washed, especially on polyurethane resin, and at the same time having excellent safety and little toxicity and further easy in drying after washing. SOLUTION: This cleaning liquid composition is composed of (A) 40-95 pts.wt. ofγ-butyrolactone, (B) 5-30 pts.wt. of a hydrocarbon compound having a boiling point in the range of 130-220 deg.C and (C) 0-30 pts.wt. of a carbonyl compound having a boiling point in the range of 130-250 deg.C, in which the total of (A), (B) and (C) is 100 pts.wt.
