PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent upsurge of performance from unnatural swing by distinguishing supplied performance information between preferred processing performance information and non-preferred processing performance information and earlier processing the preferred processing performance information. SOLUTION: A specified part to be preferentially processed among 16 parts of musical sounds generated by a musical sound generation circuit 16 is set by a user. Then, when an MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) IN circuit 11 receives the performance information, an interrupt occurs from its MIDI IN circuit 11 to be inputted to a CPU 12. The CPU 12 stores the performance information received by the MIDI IN circuit 11 in an FIFO provided in a RAM 14 so that the performance information of the specified part is read out earlier according to the inputted interrupt. Thereafter, the performance information stored in the FIFO is read out successively, and musical sound generation processing is performed by the musical sound generation circuit 16 based on the read out performance information, and a musical sound is emitted through a sound emission part. |
