TEACHING SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR WELDING ROBOT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding robot teaching supporting device capable of efficiently executing the operation teaching of a welding robot. SOLUTION: A robot controller is provided with a teaching supporting processor 8 including an element decomposing means 81 for decomposing the CAD data of a target to be welded into plural element groups each of which consists of a linear element and a circular arc element, an element selection means 82 capable of selecting a specific element from the decomposed element groups and an operation limit generating means 83 capable of moving the working point of a robot only in parallel with the selected element. At the time of teaching an welding line, the robot controller can efficiently execute operation teaching by using an operation command generated from the means 83 as necessity and teaching a welding line.
