<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reinforcing cord of a first spiral reinforcing layer from biting into an inner surface rubber layer without providing any protection layer over the inner surface rubber layer. SOLUTION: In this high pressure hose, a plurality of spiral reinforcing layers 5 are interposed between an inner surface rubber layer 2 and an outer surface rubber layer 3, and concurrently, the spiral widing direction is made opposite between the adjacent spiral reinforcing layers. In this case, the reinforcing cord (f) of a first spiral reinforcing layer 5A adjacent to the inner surface rubber layer 2 is formed out of organic fibers in each of which its tension strength is more than 15gf/d, its cutting elongation is less than 5%, and its thermal contraction rate at the temperature of 150 deg.C is less than 1%, and the reinforcing cords (f) of the spiral reinforcing layers 5B through 5D located at the outer circumferential side of the first spiral reinforcing layer 5A, are formed out of steel wires.</p> |
