<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an information input without closely observing a fixed area for a long time by deciding the selection of a selection element on a screen which is closely observed by a device observer when his blinking operation is detected by outputting a signal that determines an information input. SOLUTION: A line of sight detector 101 measures the position of a cornea reflected image of infrared light and detects the direction of a line of sight, and a blink detector 102 detects the existence of the cornea reflected image of the infrared light and detects whether the eyelids of a user are closed. The detector 101 discriminates whether the device user closely observes a selection element by showing the selection element on a display 103.
