The vehicle rear boot lid (3) which is hinged near its upper edge (4) on the vehicle bodywork (1) has an external gripper (7), a palette, near its lower edge. The palette can move between a retracted position (6f), when the lid is closed, and an access position (6h) when the lid is open. The palette front part (7a) has a pivoting spindle (8) carried by the boot lid. Its rear part (7b) which holds the palette in the retracted position when the lid is closed engages a lower stop (18) fixed to the vehicle bodywork (11). This lower stop is obscured at the bottom against a spring (19). A second stop (15), fixed to the lid, holds the palette in its open access position and limits palette pivoting due to the action of gravity or the spring. |
