PROCESS FOR TREATING THE WALL OF A REACTOR BY VIBRATIONS

The present invention relates to a process for the treatment of the inner wall of a fluidised bed reactor (1) for the gas phase polymerisation of olefins. Said treatment consists in the cleaning of the inner wall of the reactor from sticking fines or agglomerates by applying a vibration on the outer reactor wall which is generated by an excitator (11, 12). Fouling of the reactor is eliminated thanks to a simple mechanical method which is easy to implement on existing plants.
