<p>A microalgae culture apparatus which comprises (1) a channel (a) which is irradiated with sunlight, contacts the atmosphere and which permits a suspension of microalgae and culture solution to fill and flow in it, (2) and upper closed storage tank (b) for storing the suspension so as to avoid contact between the suspension and the atmosphere and provided with a pipe and a valve for degassing, (3) a vent pipe (c) opened to and arranged on the storage tank (b) and for pressure feeding a gas into the storage tank (b), and (4) a gas pressure feeder (d). Upstream and downstream ends of the channel (a) and the storage tank (b) are connected to one another at a bottom of the storage tank (b) by a conduit (f) to form an endless channel, and upstream and downstream ends of the channel (a) and the storage tank (b) are connected to one another at the bottom of the storage tank (b) so that a gas pressure fed through a vent pipe (c) is made to pass through an interior of the storage tank (b) and jet out toward the upstream end of the channel (a) from the bottom of the storage tank (b).</p> |
