<p>When helical or concentric pit lines (p) are formed on an optical disk original (3) by irradiating a laser beam to the original (3), the laser beam is applied along path which is in parallel with, or diagonally to, the bit lines (p). For example, the laser beam is applied in such a manner as to describe an arcuate path which is in touch with the innermost pit line äp (point B)ü and the outermost pit line äp (point A)ü in the optical disk original (3), and uses as its diameter the sum of the radius r of the innermost pit line and the radius R of the outermost pit line. <IMAGE></p> |
