<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a mucosal flap at a condition opened to both sides on surgical treatment to be accompanied by mucous ablation in an oral cavity, by integrally connecting both lower ends of an upright arc shaped elastic rod to both ends of two horizontal elastic bars at a distance to form a frame and equipping a small needle directed outward for sticking and fixing the mucosal flap onto the horizontal elastic bar. SOLUTION: This flap holder for dentistry is constituted of a frame 3 formed by integrally connecting both lower ends of two upright arc shaped elastic bars 2, 2 to both ends of two horizontal elastic bars at a distance (w) and equipping needles 4, 4 for sticking and fixing a mucosal flap on the two horizontal elastic bars. Then the mucosal flap (gingival flap) of an absent molar part is dissected, opened to both sides to expose the periosteum, the distance (w) between horizontal elastic bars 1, 1 of the frame 3 is contracted against the elasticity of the upright arch shaped elastic bars 2, 2 to make the horizontal elastic bars 1, 1 abut on the gingival flap. The small needles 4, 4 stick unto the gingival flap and keeps the gingival flap opened to both sides to enable to execute surgical treatment on the top part of a pyramid.</p> |
