Videotape manufacturing method

The method involves manufacturing a videotape (140) which is provided with a video track for storing images, an audio track for storing sound, and a control signal track for storing different control signals. An viewer age range value is saved, according to a classification of the images which are stored in the video track. A specific code value is assigned according to the age range, and the specific code value is stored on an optional position of the control signal track. The marked video images are preferably not displayed during reproduction unless a specific request or operation has been performed at the reproducing VTR.
