System for actuating doors by means of the use of a linear motor formed by the stator of the motor located on the upper edge of the frame and the armature on that of the movable leaf, by means of an iron structure and a joining support in which provision is made for suspension and guide means on a rail which runs parallel to the upper edge of the door, conjointly with another, lower guide via which the lower edge of the movable leaf runs. An electronic system regulates the voltage and frequency applied to the motor, controlling speed, acceleration and direction of the movable leaf. All the aforesaid not requiring transmission means, reducers or clutches to achieve an economic system which does not require costly maintenance and is supremely simple. <IMAGE>
