PRINTING CONTROL SYSTEM AND SCANNER CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify resources which are incorporated by a conventional printer and to reduce cost by executing a processing processed by the conventional printer through the use of a host having higher performance than the printer. SOLUTION: A printer part 2 is connected to a host part (personal computer) with an ISA bus and the host part controls the printer part 2 so as to execute printing in a system. In the system the DMA controller 35 of the host part transfers data without the intervention of CPU between memory-memory and memory-I/O. An interruption controller 36 receives interruption from respective I/O and executes the processing in accordance with priority order. The host part analyzes a control code transmitted from a printer driver, generates a control I/O command, transmits it to the printer and also instructs the execution of the transmitted control I/O command so that the printer part 2 executes printing.
