摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-presence image generation by estimating threedimensional(3D) structure so as to minimize the difference between respective images consisting of an image sequence and generated images reconstituted by using the estimated 3D structure. SOLUTION: Assuming that a camera is linearly moved at equal speed vertically and horizontally to an optical axis, lociλ0 andλ1 of feature point 13 become straight lines. The feature point 13 on an epipolar image 12 is extracted and further the locus of feature point 13 is estimated so that the depth of feature point 13 can be found from the inclination of locus of feature point 13. Thus, 3D line segments X0 and Y0 corresponding to feature points x0 and y0 are extracted. Then, an image applied by the feature point lociλ0 andλ1 is generated from the extracted 3D line segments, the absolute value error between the generated image and an input image is found by using the feature point lociλ0 andλ1 and further, an error evaluation function is found as the total sum of errors of absolute values. Then, a feature point locus 14 to minimize the found error evaluation function is searched, and the 3D structure based on this locus is estimated.
