The invention concerns a device for supporting toy vehicle tracks formed from sections or parts each comprising a practicable centre portion laterally delimited by guide members, the guide members taking the form of posts or bars which are open at the bottom. The device comprises a columnar element which is provided in its upper end region with an insert pin which can be introduced from below into the guide members. The upper end region (2) has a plateau-like widened portion (7) which projects beyond the insert pin (3) such that, when an insert pin (3) has been inserted in the guide member, a plateau portion (7a) projects laterally beyond the guide member (4). This plateau portion (7a) is provided with an insert opening (8) into which can be inserted an insert projection (10) which is disposed at the lower end of an identical further columnar element.
