PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which time required for electrification is short and which hardly causes fogging. SOLUTION: As for this image forming device 2; in an electrification stage for applying specified surface electric potential to a photoreceptor drum 10 which has nearly its term of service life, a peeling voltage from a peeling charger 16b and AC voltage from a precleaning charge eliminating device are impressed on the drum 10 simultaneously with the electrification of surface electric potential by an electrifying device, 12, so that the time taken until the surface electric potential of the drum 10 attains saturation surface potential is reduced. Thus, the image having no fogging is provided. Then, the time required to finish printing is reduced. |
