<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability in connecting a connector by a simple structure by fitting engagement parts respectively provided on an electronic equipment and an external device, and connecting the connectors with the engaged part as a supporting point. SOLUTION: When an accessory equipment such as a card reader is externally fitted to a portable terminal device HOT, and used by adding the functions, a projected part 3 is provided on a back side of an external device 2, and a recessed part 12 to be fitted to the projected part 3 is provided on an upper end of the HHT device. When connectors 4, 5 of the external device 2 and the HHT device 1 are connected to each other, the projected part 3 of the external device 2 is hooked to the recessed part of the HHT device 1, and fitted thereto. The mutual positional relationship is roughly determined, and the external device 2 is turned with the fitted part as a supporting point, the connector 4 is connected to the connector 5 of the HOT device 1, and the bodies are fixed by screws. The connector can be easily connected without being conscious about the position of the connector with a simple constitution.</p> |
