FIELD: packing facilities; bottle screw caps with trunnion-type inner seal 4. SUBSTANCE: seal consists of narrow sealing portion 5 and drive-in portion 6 adjoining the sealing portion from below and designed for alignment and sparing drive-in of inner seal. To provide maximum early sealing of bottle when turning off sealing cap, vent recesses 9 on drive-in zone 6 of inner seal are provided. Recesses prevent sealing of bottle by drive-in portion and provide bleeding of gas from bottle mouth as soon as sealing portion comes out of contact with bottle mouth. Side surfaces of vent recess serve simultaneously as friction surfaces for smoothing out surface irregularities of bottle mouth before sealing portion of seal comes out of contact with bottle mouth.
