The free upper end of a flexible centre part (2) extending vertically from a foot plate (1) is closed off by a signal part (3) integrally moulded or releasably and exchangeably moulded onto the centre part (2). The flexible part (2) re-sets to vertical after flexure. The total height of the device matches the average car window level and the flexible centre part mounted excentrically on the foot plate should be made of extruded metal or plastics which can be screwed, plugged, welded or soldered to or integrated with the foot plate. Signals or other symbols, advertisement or information can be applied to the functional face (4) of the signal part (3). The signal part takes the form of a board or shield fixed releasably in a holder (5) at the top end of the centre part (2) and held rigidly to or integrated with the centre part. The holder comes in channel form taking a pin etc projecting from the signal part (3). The foot plate should be hollow and filled with drainable sprinkled or fluid material imparting weighted stability to the device.
