[Also in Divisions B1 and C1] An animal food supplement comprises 25-60 mole % disodium hydrogen phosphate, 20-50 mole % magnesium hydrogen phosphate, and, optionally, 0-25% calcium hydrogen phosphate, and is prepared by spraying phosphoric acid, having a P 2 O 5 content of 40-60% by wt., into a mixture of sodium, magnesium and, optionally, calcium oxides, hydroxides or carbonates contained in a drum rotating about a horizontal axis, provided with vanes inside the drum for lifting the mixture, and causing it to cascade down in a shower, and then cooling and drying the product. |
