PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject polymer, capable of efficiently imparting a stabilized dispersion state and useful as an aqueous dispersing agent, etc., for a water-based ink by carrying out the addition polymerization of a specific carboxylated diol with a polyisocyanate. SOLUTION: This polymer is an addition polymer obtained from (A) a compound represented by the formula [A is a residue of a polybasic acid or having an aromatic or a cycloaliphatic structure or a residue of an aliphatic polybasic acid such as a (carboxyl- or alkyl-mono-substituted)phenylene, 2-norbornene-5,6- diyl, cyclohexene-4,5 diyl, 1,2- or 1,4-cyclohexylene or cyclopentane-1,3-diyl; B is a trivalent aliphatic residue] and (B) a polyisocyanate and is regulated to 100-250 acid value. |
