PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flue gas desulfurization process in which solids are not deposited in a jet bubbling reactor(JBR) when the reactor is brought into contact with an absorption reaction liquid for cooling flue gas. SOLUTION: A jet bubbling reactor(JBR) 50 is provided with a gas cooling section 52, a space 62, a jet bubbling pipe 66 handing down from a deck plate 64 and a gas-liquid separation chamber 58 on the deck plate. Flue gas cooled in the gas cooling section is flowed into the space together with an absorption reaction liquid, and the absorption reaction liquid is separated therefrom. Therefore, solids are not made to adhere on a deck plate or the like to increase the pressure loss as heretofore generated, nor the solid reducing work is required. The absorption reaction liquid is stored in the jet bubbling pipe by utilizing the pressure balance of the flue gas, and the flue gas is introduced at significantly high speed from a lower opening to form a superjet bubbling layer in the pipe. The gas-liquid contact efficiency is improved by the arrangement. The absorption reaction liquid is separated from purified flue gas on the upper end of the pipe in the gas-liquid separation chamber.
|
