PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a chopper fold machine whereby defective products generated in the chopper fold machine can be decreased, a rotational speed of a chopper roll can be optimized in accordance with a printing speed of a printing machine. SOLUTION: Ratioαof a rotating speed Nc of a chopper roll 13, 14 relating to a print drum rotating speed Np of a printing machine is changed so as to decrease in accordance with the increase of the print drum rotating speed Np. Even if the print drum rotating speed Np becomes high, since the rotating speed Nc of the chopper roll 13, 14 can be suppressed from rising, defective products easily generated in a high speed rotating region of the chopper roll 13, 14 can be decreased.
