PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the opening/closing operation of the lid of a small article housing container of automobile, and protect the opening/closing mechanism from being damaged due to an operating load other than specified one by a wrong operation from generating. SOLUTION: A pressing part 34 is provided on one side of the rotating shaft O of a lid 16, and a lock arm 31 is provided on the other side. On a catch 18 which is attached to the lower surface of a finisher 8, an engagement receiving part 44 connected to a cam part 41, and an elastically deformable supporting part 47 which supports the rear surface of the engagement receiving part 44, are provided. Every time when the pressing part 34 is pressed, the force is transmitted through the lock arm 31, and the cam part 41 moves to the upper side or the lower side. Under a state wherein the cam part 41 has moved to the upper side, the engaging part 32 of the lock arm 31 is kept under an engaged state, and the lid 16 is kept under a closed state. Under a state wherein the cam part 41 has moved to the lower side, the engagement receiving part 44 tilts backward, and the engaging part 32 of the lock arm 31 is disengaged. Under the state wherein the lid 16 is closed, if an operating load other than specified one, is applied, the supporting part 47 elastically deforms to allow the tilt of the engagement receiving part 44, and the lid 16 is released. |
