CYCLOPENTYLAMINE DERIVATIVES, PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF, AND BACTERICIDES

Cyclopentylamine derivatives of general formula (I) and acid-addition salts thereof, wherein R<1> is optionally substituted aryl, aralkyl or a heterocyclic group; R<2>, R<3> and R<4> are each independently H or C1-C3 alkyl; and R<5> is H, halogeno or C1-C5 alkyl, which are useful as physiologically active substances such as bactericide. A process for the preparation of the compounds of general formula (I) is characterized by comprising the step of reductively aminating a cyclopentanone derivative of general formula (II) in the presence of R<1>CHR<2>NHR<3> or R<3>NH<2>; and bactericides contain the compound of general formula (I) as the active ingredient.
