FIELD: armor-protection constructions that can be used in individual and transport means of protection against effect of small arms bullets. SUBSTANCE: armor composition on its face side has a cover plate with a hardness at least HRC35 with a deflecting member. Deflecting member is made of a layer of polymeric material with a density of 2000 to 2500 kg/cu.m, including a layer of liquid with a density of 900 to 1100 kg/cu.m, and operating temperature range within minus 60 C to plus 250 C. Thickness h<SB>1</SB> of liquid layer and height h<SB>2</SB> of polymeric layer are selected proceeding from relation <EMI ID=0.186 HE=6 WI=12 TI=CHI>= 2-4. Value d makes up 0.5 to 0.9 of thickness of cover plate that is not pierced by bullet for selected angles of impact with armor composition. Thickness h<SB>1</SB> of liquid layer makes up 0.003 to 0.006 of value d. EFFECT: reduced mass and thickness, enhanced protective properties at firing by armor-piercing-incendiary bullets. 3 dwg
