Lighting unit mounting and fixture arrangement in vehicle

The lamp unit is fitted with several mounting sleeves (40) which are gripped by spacers inserted into the sleeves and gripping the inside of each sleeve by spreading their profiled arms (20) inside the sleeves. A screw inserted through the system is threaded into each spacer to pull up the spacer and spread the grips. The screw also secures the fitting onto the mounting wall (50) of the vehicle. The spreader block slides inside each spreader on profiled grips. The outside surface of the spreading profiles is textured to grip into a corresponding grip surface inside the sleeve. The sleeve, spreader and spreading block are plastic moulded.
