PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent equivalent series data from being transmitted to a downstream transmission path irrespective of the scramble processing timing of a transmitting part by replacing the equivalent series data by fixed data and transmitting to the light transmitting part of the terminal of the downstream transmission path even if the light receiving part of the terminal of an upstream transmission path receives the equivalent series data. SOLUTION: When the equivalent series data dc of the receiving data d1 is transmitted to an optical communication equipment 6 in the case of causing the abnormal state of the upstream light transmission path 11 , a 0/1 series detecting part 341 detects the receiving data d1 , converts into the fixed data dF1 and transmits it to the light transmitting part 22 of the downstream light transmission path 12 . The transmitting part 22 performs the prescribed scramble processing and converting the fixed data into transmission data d3 , and transmits it to the downstream light transmission path 12 . Thus, a clock extracting processing and the scramble processing are certainly executed by a light receiving part in a light receiving device, the signal is restored to the fixed data dF1 and transmitted to the receiving terminal, and the occurrence of abnormality in an optical transmission system is recognized. Thus, the influence of the abnormal state occurred in the upstream light transmission path 11 to the downstream light transmission path 12 is prevented. |
