<p>The dissolved oxygen content of a body of water (11) is increased by the addition of hydrogen peroxide to water withdrawn from the body of water (11) by means of a pump (10) and discharged back into the body of water (11) in the form of a jet. The water is pumped through an outlet pipe (15) having a discharge section (16) containing a venturi which operates to draw the hydrogen peroxide from a storage container (18).</p> |
