The invention relates to an insecticidal and miticidal composition which contains as active ingredients 4-bromo-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-(ethoxymethyl)-5- (trifluoromethyl)pyrrole-3-carbonitrile in combination with one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of benzoepin, nereistoxin-type insecticidal agents and diafenthiuron. The insecticidal and miticidal composition of the invention is effective against pests and mites having resistance to commercial insecticidal and miticidal agents.
