The machine comprises a circulating disc-shaped running wheel (24) with a number of pockets formed on the common part circle and distributed in a peripheral direction. A housing with a work chamber accommodates the wheel and side channels (44) cover the tracks of the pockets formed by the opposing face wall of the work chamber. The side channels have an angle extend of less than 360 degrees so that between the end sections of the side channels ribs remain. The side channel end sections remain in connection with an inlet channel (80). In the inlet side end section of at least one of the side channels a guide component (102) asymmetrical to the part circle (106) of the pockets (36) of the running wheel (24) is arranged. |
