PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector for a head lamp with which light distribution pattern without upward warp in both end parts of the right and left sides can be obtained. SOLUTION: Since the horizontal cross-section shape of a reflecting face segment 70 has a projected and curved shape with a large curvature radius, the cross-section shape covering from a filament F of a light source bulb of the reflecting face segment 70 to both end parts of the right and left upper sides also has a projected and curved shape with a large curvature radius. Consequently, as compared with a reflector having a conventional reflecting face segment with a projected and curved shape with a small curvature radius, the reflection angleαdeg. of reflected light becomes small for the incidence angleαdeg.of luminous fluxes from the filament F of the light source bulb reaching both end parts of the right and left upper sides of a composite reflecting face is small. As a result, since the reflected light is not so much upward, the light distribution pattern through a lens 12 is formed to be a light distribution pattern without upward warp in both end parts of the right and left upper sides. |
