PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor, connected to a network that is controlled easily from other terminal on the network, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: Setting of various parameters and their entry having conventionally been conducted on an operation panel with a visit to an installation place of a copying machine are set by a computer on a network and the setting is transferred to copying machines 121, 122. Then the user goes in front of a concerned copying machine to select a setting file thereby executing the setting and operating sequence of all parameters. Furthermore, the setting of various parameters is set on a large screen of each of computers 131, 132, 133, then the operability is improved and a simple preview is obtained. Since the operation after visit to the copying machine is simplified, exclusive occupancy of the copying machine for the purpose is avoided. |
