FIELD: transport engineering; automobile suspensions. SUBSTANCE: telescopic strut has housing 1, cylinder 2, compensating space 17 arranged between housing and cylinder, guide 4 of rod 3 with channels 5, rod 3, ring 9 of rod 3, oil seal 6 with frame 7 and collar type valve 8 made integral with oil seal 6 above sealing edge of oil seal. Holder 10 of ring 9 of rod 3 with throttle 13 in upper flange 12 is arranged between oil seal 6 and guide 4 of rod 3. Flange 12 limits axial displacement of ring 9. Cylindrical part 11 of holder is press-fitted on surface of guide 4 of rod 3. Lower flange 14 of holder 10 is clamped between frame 7 of oil seal 6 and guide 4 by means of nut 16. Space 19 is formed between holder 10 and frame 7 communicating through holes 15 and channels 5 with compensating space 17. Valve 8 is made for engagement with holder 10 in upper part of space 19 and space 20. EFFECT: enhanced operating characteristics of suspension, provision of repairability. 2 dwge
