<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording liquid for ink jet printers, not blotting and permeating into recording paper, giving high image concentrations, excellent in fixity and water resistance, not clogging ink jet heads, and excellent in extrusion stability, and to provide a method for forming an image with the recording ink. SOLUTION: This recording liquid comprises water, a coloring agent, resin particles having a film-forming property at the ordinary temperature, and water- insoluble solid particles not having a film-forming property at the ordinary, wherein the solid particles comprise inorganic particles and/or synthetic polymer particles. The recording liquid is used in an image-recording method for extruding the drops of the recording liquid from a head to record on a recording medium.</p> |
