PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for imaging a blood vessel and for guiding PTCA, which can be easily inserted into the coronary artery, and which can be prevented from making contact with a heart valve or the inner wall of a blood vessel or the like so as to cause hindrance in this part. SOLUTION: A catheter is composed of a body part 10, a first curved part 31 having an outer periphery with a radius of curvature of 5 to 15mm on the outside thereof, a curved part 30 consisting of a first straight line part 32 having an angle of greater than 0 deg., but less than 45 deg, with respect to the body part 10, a second curved part 33 having an outer periphery with a radius of curvature of 3 to 9mm and a second straight line part 34 having an angle of 10 to 135 deg. with respect to the body part 10, a third curved part 22 connected to the curved part 30, curved in a direction opposite to that of the curved part 30 and having an outer periphery with a radius of curvature of 3 to 9mm. The curved parts are arranged in this order from the body part 10. |
