PURPOSE:To improve strength characteristics of a fiber-reinforced concrete by dispersing a carbon fiber having a peak ratio of OIS/CIS peak measured by ESCA method, not higher than a specific value and having attached silicone rubber fine powder into a cement-based matrix. CONSTITUTION:A carbon fiber obtained by carbonizing a polyacrylo-nitrile-based fiber and having <0.10 peak ratio of OIS/CIS measured by ESCA method is formed. This carbon fiber is treated with a treating liquid having <=-30mV zetaelectric potential and obtained by dispersing silicone rubber fine particles into water using an anionic surfactant such as sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate to attach about 0.01-5wt.% silicone rubber fine particles to the carbon fiber. Then, silicone rubber fine particles-attached carbon fiber cut into prescribed fiber length is mixed into a cement matrix, executed and cured to provide the objective high-strength carbon fiber-reinforced concrete. |
