PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitation device capable of sufficiently mixing a raw material with air in a fermentation tank. SOLUTION: This agitation device is provided by attaching an agitation means 30 capable of agitating up a material is a fermentation tank 60 to an agitation device main body 10 capable of being moved on the fermentation tank 60, disposing a bulkhead 40 for inhibiting the passage of the raw material in the fermentation tank 60 on the back side of the agitation means 30, and arranging the upper end 41 of the bulkhead 40 at a place above the upper surface of the raw material in the fermentation tank 60.
