<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of an underwater laser visually confirming device by calculating the contrast value of a test image according to the turbidity of a light propagating medium and the visually conformable distance to the test image on the basis of the reflected light from the test image. SOLUTION: An image pickup device 2 is arranged with a distance (visually conformable distance) R2 from an object to be visually confirmed 3 to detect the intensity of the reflected light of the laser pulse from the object to be visually confirmed 3. A light propagating medium 4 having a specified turbidity is present between the object to be visually confirmed 3 and the image pickup device 2. As the object to be visually confirmed 3, a test image formed of a plurality of different standard luminance parts is set. Since the contrast value of the test image according to the turbidity of the light propagating medium 4 and the visually conformable distance to the test image is calculated on the basis of the reflected light from the test image, only the turbidity of the light propagating medium 4 in a site is measured and conformed to the simulation result, whereby the relation of the contrast value and the visually conformable distance to the turbidity can be known.</p> |
