<p>A high efficiency electronic air filter is based on a fibrous pad of dielectric fibres which is sandwiched between an electrically charged, ionizing grid and a grounded screen. The ionizing grid charges the dust particles passing through the filter and at the same time the grid and screen polarize the fibrous pad. In this way, the charged particles are attracted and collected on the polarized fibrous pad with improved efficiency.</p> |
