This invention provides compounds of formula (I) having structure (1) wherein: R1 is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, fluoroalkoxy, trifluoromethyl, alkylthio, or SCF3; R2 and R3 are each independently hydrogen or alkyl, or R2 and R3 may be taken together to form a saturated cycloalkyl ring; and R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl, halogen, fluoroalkoxy, CF3 or SCF3 which are useful in the treatment of arthritic disorders, colorectal cancer, and Alzheimer's disease.
