<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mechanical strength against mechanical shock in a developing unit without deteriorating low-temp. fixability at the time fixation and pulverization resistance at the time of production, and to obtain an electrophotographic toner capable of giving a stable image over a long period of time, by incorporating a vinyl polymer contg. specified monomers as constituent units. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic toner contains a vinyl polymer contg. monomers represented by the formulae as constituent units. In the former formula, each of R1 -R8 is H, a halogen, <=10C optionally substd. (cyclo)alkyl or <=10C optionally substd. aryl, each of R9 and R10 is H, a <=6C optionally substd. (cyclo) alkyl, X is a 2-6C optionally substd. (cyclo)alkylene, Y is a <=10C optionally substd. (cyclo)alkylidene, sulfonyl, sulfide, -O- or a single bonding radical and (n) is 1-5.</p> |
