PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control mechanism for a camera with simple and easy handling construction. SOLUTION: The mechanism is provided with a manual operation member 4, a focus driving mechanism for performing the focusing operation of an optical system, a zoom driving mechanism for performing the zooming operation of the optical system, a 1st motor 6 functioning as a driving source for the focus driving mechanism, a 2nd motor 7 functioning as a driving source for the zoom driving mechanism and a release button 3 which is shifted into at least three states; an initial state, a half depressed state and a fully depressed state for starting an exposure operation. |
